Superspeed ramdisk plus v10 0.1 keygen

SSDs are faster than HDDs. If you have a real need for maximum speed then a RamDisk is the correct choice. It is faster than either of them. RamDisk vs. Hard Disk Drives (HDD) The most important difference between a RAM disk and a hard disk is access speed. The time taken for a regular hard disk to move its magnetic heads over the spinning disks (much like the arm moving over old vinyl record disk) is the seek time and is typically measured in milliseconds (thousandths of a second). Whereas a RAM disk does not have mechanical parts and its access speed is typically measured in nanoseconds (billionths of a second). Access to a RAM disk may be 50 times faster or more than to a hard drive. RamDisk vs. Solid State Drives (SSD) The SSD solid-state technology uses flash memory so it does not spin like a traditional disk, so there is no disk head seek time. So in a sense an SSD functions similar to a RamDisk. However, main system RAM is tightly coupled to the CPU insuring the highest data throughput possible. Whereas SSD typically have to go through some other slower bus to bring data to the CPU. Additionally there is the issue of write amplification, which decreases the SSD lifespan and hurts random write performance and lastly SSDs are still pretty expensive. It uses our patented memory management (up to 512 GB ) to create a virtual disk out of RAM. The RAM disk appears like a physical hard disk to the operating system and programs. You choose its size (depending on the amount of RAM in your system), drive letter, and file system. You can copy, move and delete files on it. Like a physical disk, a RAM disk can also be shared so as to be accessed by other computers on a network. But a RAM disk is volatile by its very nature. Meaning any data on it will be lost if the system's power is off. But this can be mitigated with the backup feature you can read about below. RamDisk Plus Features. RamDisk Plus adds multiple disk support, system page file support for HDD, and a versatile disk image backup and restore facility. You can manually save the RAM disk s contents to an image file, or have the contents saved automatically when the computer is shutdown. This feature ensures that service and application data stored on the RAM disk can be preserved between system restarts. During the subsequent system start-up, the disk's image is automatically loaded. A live RAM disk image may be backed up even with open handles to the volume. A RAM disk image viewer is included and lets you load image files as read-only devices. RAM disks can be zeroed out upon removal and the disk image file can be preserved upon removal. Extended memory access. RamDisk Plus 12 has a most unique feature. Our patent pending technology can access memory beyond the limitation imposed by a Windows 32-bit operating system! In other words, RamDisk Plus 12 can use unmanaged Windows' memory e.g. above 4GB. It can also use the stubbornly inaccessible memory between 3.2GB and 4GB. See the product's help file for detailed explanation of what unmanaged memory is and how to access and use it with RamDisk Plus 12. This feature has now been included into the 64-bit RamDisk Plus version 11.7.917. Any memory not accessible by a Windows 64-bit OS can now be included for use by a RamDisk! For example, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit can access up to a maximum 16GB of RAM. If your system has more, then RamDisk Plus can make the extra unmanaged RAM above 16GB available for a RamDisk.
